Born in 1977. Lives in Berlin.
After first experiences at archaeological excavations in Chile and Studies of History at the Humboldt University in Berlin, she worked in the film processing laboratory of Geyer Werke Berlin and as an assistant editor in Rostock, Germany, and Santiago de Chile. From 2001-2009 she studied Editing at the HFF Film School „Konrad Wolf“ in Potsdam-Babelsberg. Since 2008 she has been working as a freelance editor and is editing films for museums and NGOs, news, music videos and others, but her main focus is on documentaries. The film Domino Effect won the Golden Dove at the Leipzig Dokfilmfestival 2014. For #Racegirl – The Comeback of Sophia Flörsch she was nominated together with Finbarr Wilbrink for the DOK.edit Award at DOK.fest München 2023.
